    I've had these white specks on my glass for a long time and I don't know what they are. There's thousands of them on my glass. When I wipe them off they take a a while to re inhabit the area I wiped off. You can see in these photos that the back of my aquarium that I cannot reach is absolutely covered. If they move it's extremely slowly and I do not notice. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Looks like the calcareous tubes of a small feather duster to me. Once out of water a vinegar soak cleans it off well. But in water I scrape them off or leave them right where they are.

    spiroid tube worms I believe. Harmless filter feeders.

    yup I get them also noticed my bicolor angel started reading them so +1 to free munchies
