I have been looking online and havent found any real good forums for lizards. One Ive been waiting for almost 48hrs for permission to post and the other is ballpythons.net which obviously isnt based for geckos. Anyone know of websites like girs that is full of information?

That used to be in schamburg at an old farm house. You will find anything from snakes to alligators there. Its a real good time if you like reptiles.

Hmmm. Ill have to try that. It seems Everybodys shows seems to fall on my weekend to work and they have them all the time. The girs has only 2 events a year and I can go to atleast one every year. If the wife would just let me have a snake I wouldnt be so hung up on what to get.

Not sure if this helps at all or not, but my daughter has a chameleon that she get near the beginning of this year. I know, it isn't a gecko, but anyway, finding local help has been difficult as you are finding out.

The most helpful information she received, and this was after months of her own research plus some time put into it by me, was from the place that she bought the chameleon from. It is up near Madison, WI and was a put "stumbled upon" them kind of thing. We were going to my oldest daughter's show choir competition up in that area, and found out that we were running REALLY early, so I literally just opened up google maps on my phone, and searched 'reptile'. We were 1 exit away from some place called Reptile Rapture in Manona, WI. Now, that is not a quick drive obviously at 3 hours each way, but wow. This was hands down the BEST reptile shop I've ever seen. Not only in the whole store setup, but the people really know their stuff.

We've called them several times since then and they have always been willing to answer questions and help out as long as they aren't busy with customers.

Just a thought. I will let you google search them since I am not 100% sure where this falls within forum policies, but if you have some specific questions while trying to find a forum to call home for your reptile needs, I thought I would mention them.
