Custom Tank

    Where is a good spot in Des Moines (if any) to get a custom acrylic (or glass) tank built?  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    I am not sure about DM, I had mine made by Midwest Custom Aquariums north on Minneapolis

    Thanks! That's a start, doesn't NEED to be in Des Moines. Surrounding area or within a reasonable driving distance. I'll check out that MCA.

    you could check out glasscages.com but i have heard very mixed reviews on these guys. i believe ajs new tank is a glass cages.

    Yeah, it is. I've heard mixed things about them too. The tank I got from Ryan seems to be overbuilt. Heavy glass, eurobraced, etc. It was kind of a pain to deal with the bottom, but I got around that. I'm very happy with it now that I put the acrylic in the bottom. Overall heavy duty, but I heard that their customer service is sketchy at best. Proceed with caution.

    Hey N3Xgen, we do our custom acrylic through Tenecor Aquariums. Unfortunately it takes approx 6 weeks to build, which I'm not sure what the going time frame is for other companies. PM me with dimensions if you wish to have me check for you. If not no worries!!! HTH
