I have read alot about these guys and also follow at TONMO but I am still finding it just about impossible to get a couple of these guys here in the Midwest. Does anyone know of someone that breeds these more locally or an easier way of getting one out here to the Midwest?

We've got some flamboyant cuttlefish at the zoo right now, they are extremely cool. I actually had a personal tank cycling a few years ago for a cuttlefish tank but got a great deal on a pair of seahorses before I ordered any. Cuttlefish are pretty damn expensive and only live to about 16 months old. Here's the link to some zoo pics of the Metasepia pfefferi.

Not too bad. They need their own tank and have different demands than reef fish. Most will only eat live ghost shrimp.
