    Take the Daylight Savings Challenge for Saltwater Aquarium Enthusiasts

    Does your tank NEED all the light you zap it with each day? How do you know? Do you want to take the challenge with me? Leave a comment and let me know. We can all report back in a few weeks and then again before the next Daylight Savings (fall back one hour) and showcase our results.

    Lol. I just found this on google, under daylight savings. Really don't know if this would be a good idea or not. All my tanks are not on timers, so if we are out in town with the boys we have to turn them on eairly, or turn them on really late and run them threw the night. Everything is really doing good in the tanks.

    I remember watching a video of an old newscast shortly after DST was implemented. This woman interviewed said she didn't like it because her plants got less light. [​IMG]

    Something stupid I seen on the interweb. When I was looking for clip art. Thought it was kinda wacky. And possibly pointless.

    I actually cut an hour off of my daylight part of the photo period and saw positive results in colo of sps. I must have been over cooking them a little lol. Down to 5 hours on day lights. I left actinic lighting the same at 10 hours. Otherwise I wouldn't get to see tank with lights on very often.
