This sucks i found ich in my tank several week's ago so i set up a bigger qt to house all of my fish. I wanted to let it cycle a bit so i wouldnt stress the fish out as much, also the fish were still eating and swimming around so i figured i would be ok. Tonight i caught by bellus angel and started her acclimating then ate supper. 15 min i went back to check on her and she was dead. I was really shocked as she was still eating and swimming around.
On a better note though thank's to guy's at ac@c for all the help with getting this ich cured!

That sucks Brian, I saw the title of this post and before I opened it I was thinking, "Hopefully it's not Brian!". Was the angel and the other sick fish in the 220 or the 90? Was there anything that triggered it?

Thanks Adam nope it wasnt me lol. Hope things are going well for you in Omaha! The fish in both my 90 and 210 had it, Im pretty sure i got it from a fish i added abought a month ago. Im going to let the tank go fallow so i make sure to get rid of the ich.
This is a expensive lesson learned to qt every time. Im kicking myself because it's the only time i didnt!

I just read about the 2-tank method somewhere I should have bookmarked it. You set up one tank and put the fish in for 3 days, then set up another tank and move the fish to that one, empty and dry the first for 24 hours minimum, then after 3 days fill up the first tank, move the fish, dry out the 2nd tanks, I think you continue to do this for a total of 4 moves and that interrupts the life cycle and you have no ich anymore.

Of course you still have to wait out your DT before putting them back in, and moving fish that many times can be stressful too, plus you have to throw out your filters, etc etc.

Anyone know what article I'm talking about? I think it was on a Reef Builders blog or something?

That sucks Brian!! It almost seems to me that maybe the Belus was suffering from some other type of crap as well as the ich. We'll take good care of your other Wet Pets!
I see they are eating very well.
