Yesterday after the holiday party, we put the new frags in the big tank and we were then determined to get our sally lightfoot crab out of our smaller tank.

We had to move most of the rocks to finally catch him; however this morning we found that our sixline had died. Some emerald crabs were munching on him when we found it.

Is it possible we stressed it too much when we were trying to catch the crab?

Our tank seems kind of empty now, oh sad day.

Sorry to hear about the 6line Chris. Of course it's possible that it was stressed from all the activity in the tank but it's hard to say... If it was cowering in a corner, dashing about in the tank-maybe. If he was fairly new to the tank and you-maybe. I believe they tend to be a fairly hardy fish if they've been in their home for some time...

Either that or a rock might have smashed him when you were moving things around.
