Deer hunters? Let`s see them big BUCKS!

Who's got pictures of their monster bucks? I'll upload some pictures from my collection. Newest addition to the wall, is a 17 point, 177" monster /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif hello rut!

 

I've hunted tons of species. Deer is my favorite, but I'm lookin to go grizzly hunting in Alaska soon.

As far as cleaning the deer, it's not so bad man, that is, until you gut shot em, then they STINK! I shot 11 a couple seasons ago, gotta love party hunting! I do a lot of bow hunting as well. Trust me, you'll be hooked, nick! It's a blast, literally!

 

I love pheasant hunting. Too bad the population has gone down the stink hole.

I have other mounts but the pictures I took turned out crappy, and im too lazy to take more and upload at the moment.. I'm sick, so this is enough for me... hope you enjoy

I realized when I say "My" collection, I probably should have said "our".
All the deer you see are mine, except for that 177''. My little punk brother got that biggen, and smashed me by 25''. He was in the stand for 15 minutes, did a doe bleat, and that monster came running in full speed. Derek took a running shot at it, dropped it right in its tracks.
I have 6 Racks, hes got one. Mr. Monster too. So proud of him!!! Now I just got to try that much harder this year, lease some primo land, and whack a monster.
I missed a monster a few seasons ago, actually skinned his belly /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/sad.gif, but we had him on camera, and BOY whadda WHOPPER! Good to have some competition in the house! My uncle who is a taxidermist, grossed him to be approximately high 180's... Never felt sicker.. I looked for 2 days for that deer. Fat on the broad head and everything.
I changed my yardage pins from 25, 35, 45, to 20, 30, 40 yards and forgot when I took the shot, but as soon as I missed I knew.... That bow has since been retired. Now I'm looking at that new Matthews Xtreme!!

 

My uncle is a taxidermist. If I wanted the best, I'd go to Joe Meder. He's a world class taxidermist. One of the best in the world, and he's local. From deer to zebra, black bear to cape buffalo. Extremely expensive tho, but a good guy to know.
