+1 Seascapes is a must stop. New 1500 gallon tank, 600g reef, ??? gal pond, revamped fish room

Not familiar with Omaha but will follow this thread as I would like to see a few stores over there myself.

In Omaha, Ruff Waters and Aqua Pets are about the only two I would bother stopping at. Ruff Waters has nice stuff, but only for sure open on Saturdays, you need to call ahead to schedule a visit or see if someone's there. Aqua Pets is much bigger and has some really cool stuff too, they are open every day except for Mondays.

Petland also used to have a good selection, but has been rather sad these last couple months.

Thank you everyone for the input, I appreciate it.

I do know about the directory, but by asking you can get others opinions of the stores also.

Iowa petfood and Seascapes in W. Des Moines is a nice store with a great set-up, lots of equipment and supplies, fish and coral tanks are nice looking also. The 1500 gallon tank is huge, the reef is awesome. The pond would be great if you could get a better view of it.

Aqua Pets in Omaha was nice also, lots of variety, I would recommend stopping if in the area. Nice 450 gallon display when you walk in the door. Lots of variety of fish also.

I also made it to Aquatic environments in the QC area, nice coral tanks as soon as you walk in the door, nice variety of fish also. Largest variety of crabs, snails, and shrimp. They have their corals numbered on the glass, above they have a brief description and price.

Two weeks ago I was at A,C, and C in Washburn, always nice going there they have the best selection of supplies of all the stores I have been in. The coral tanks are huge, for my wife and I it is nice to see all the corals in the huge display tanks, but no prices.

I am a fan of S of M, always has been a great help to me and remembers what I have in my tank. He doesn't have the best selection of equipment, and he doesn't really have frags but I think his prices are good. His fish always look healthy when I go there.

Thanks Again for the recommendations it is always nice to hear what others think of the stores in the area...
