    Each region host their own Monthly Meetings, we have four regions. We in Des Moines have chosen to do ours as a Christmas Party. As KP said Iowa City/ Cedar Rapids has their set.


    I would think that Waterloo/Cedar Falls member appreciation party (1/11/2014 5:00 PM - 11:30 PM) would be the closer of meeting for you to attend!

    I can bring extra frags for those who do not have any frags for the white elephant frag exchange. Please shoot me a pm if you need a frag for the white elephant exchange. I have one person needing a frag already :0)


    Also, what are you wishing for... to get as a frag...SPS, LPS, Zoa/Paly, Softie..? It might be helpful too guys to label your frag as a beginner (shroom/ric. zoa/paly, softie), intermediate (LPS) or advanced (SPS). Good idea?


    I'm not real picky but an SPS would be nice...or, just something colorful/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/hehe.gif

    Hey Guys,

    Terri had some great points! We would love for the White Elephant Frag exchange to be something that all members can be involved with. If you are looking for mainly SPS or LPS or Zoa's you can post here in the thread to give people and idea of what they might bring. I know I am deciding right now between bringing and Acan or bring some Rainbow Monti. Who know in the end I might bring both! This is a great way to give back to each other and help grow our tanks.

    Just a couple of tips, with how cold it is, you will most likely want to bring the frags in a cooler, also try and mark the bag. As I always recommend, before putting a frag in your tank, you should look at some dipping process. Obviously there are many opinions with HOW things should be done, so make sure you do them the best way for you!

    Looking forward to seeing everyone there is enough prizes to keep a reef tank going for a year, so hopefully you are able to join in on this meeting.

    We will try to look back on things we did this last year that worked, then look forward towards things that we want to do for next year and also talk a little bit about the upcoming business meeting!

    yes yes fine. i dont know why you all don't like aiptasia but i guess a boring old coral frag will do instead. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif yes you can have the silversides and mysis shrimp.

    I am so full. I just left On The Boarder and seein that list of food made me wanna cry. Thought of food does not sound good but ill try hard to be hungry lol.

    Hey Guys!

    Wanted to say thank you to everyone that came! It was a great day, and I was glad that I was able to spend it with you guys. It was a great year being your Trustee and I look forward to serving as the Vice President!

    Today we had 17 memebers and 23 including spouses!

    Look forward to seeing you all at the business meeting. If you need a ride let me know and I will have room!
