    We currently do not have a lot of rules put in place for our PAR Meter. We have found that in most cases that is not something that has been required. Please remember that this is more like a tool lending library. We are a collective group of people that have the same purpose in place. If one of us takes the PAR Meter for too long the list of others wanting to use it grows longer and longer and as one of our members needs it, they are not able to use it.

    Please respect the process so we can look into building our library of equipment to use between club members. If we continue to have problems, we will have to look into putting rules into place.

    Also, I currently have the PVC pipe with depth markings on it that Dave Roth made and had attached to the par meter. Since I mailed the par meter to the next member (located in northern Iowa), we did not want to deal with the expense of mailing the pipe (its 3 1/2' long). So, Nick - if you are interested in it, let me know. Otherwise I'll get it to Chris in the next couple of days.

    Nick - how you doing with the PAR meter???? Hart gets it next, then me. I'm anxious to get it to figure out a couple things with the LEDs on my frag tank vs the cube...../DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

    Hart has the Par meter now. He picked it up from my place on Wednesday evening.

    I had it for a day, but need it longer. Hart couldn't pick it up until Wed night and Nick was finished with it on Tuesday - so he dropped it off on my house Tuesday afternoon.


    So, since I had it for a day - if Dave wants it next, that's fine with me and I can go after him.


    I used it to take readings on the frag tank . Then as a result, I lowered the lights 2-4 inches. So I'd like to get the readings now with the lowered light.

    The Trustee is who is suppose to hold onto it also, so we will discuss the plans for it this next year soon.

    Ok at this time, I think that everyone that has wanted the PAR Meter has had it.

    I am going to close this thread and let the new Trustee open up a new thread for the PAR Meter in 2014.
