if you want cleaners ACC sometimes has sales on their CUC and they should be just north of you. if you are having large algae problems you might be feeding to much, also an ATS will help and can be easy to make

I know its the 2nd thread. In my first people kept saying order online. I dont have $150 to spend on snails and hermits. I was just curious if anybody had extras they wanted to get rid of.

I keep hearing they are easy to make. IF you have a sump. I do not. I have a canister filter... if someone can explain how to make one without drilling the tank i will do my best to make one.

That canister filter might be contributing to your problems. How often are you cleaning that thing?

There is a link to reefs2go's free ship CUC's. They are right around $60 for the smaller packages. The site gets mixed reviews. I have ordered three times now and have always been pretty happy. They do give you WAYYYYY too many nassarius though. I would go 1 per 10g MAX. The 20 they send you in the "small package" would be good for a 200g aquarium IMO. They will starve and die if you dump that many into a smaller tank.

Does this mean you have never cleaned it? Are you feeding the tank? If you answer "yes" to the previous questions I would get to cleaning that thing out. Depending on how heavily you feed I would be doing it twice a month or more.
