I cannot ignore my problem anymore. Majano and aptasia are over running my tank. I need a fix and soon. I wasn't all that concerned and out of nowhere it's affecting my corals. Let me know what youve got.

Go to the farm supply store and buy a hypodermic needle. Mix up saturated kalk and inject, then repeat as needed. Not an instant fix, but will kill them with time.

Concentrated lemon juice works too. Just stab the crap out of them and inject. I use a diabetes syringe. Works well. Make sure it's real juice, not the from concentrate stuff

Injecting them provides a small amount of sadistic satisfaction.

I found some in a zoa frag from fragfest... /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif. Will reqire immediate action....

Oh I just read my posts (those were from my phone) what i meant was don't use the stuff that is "from concentrate". You don't need much of the concentrated stuff per head, maybe 0.1mL

I wish we could make a sticky on things like this but again ill say my experience. I killed HUNDREDS that had completely overtaken my tank a few yrs back. Buy aiptasia solution from fosters and smith. Its in a blue box and depending on how many you have i bought 8 boxes or so. Its only 8 bucks a box. By far the most effective way. I do have a wand as well i used for the ones i couldnt get to with the solution. Hands down no better way. Buy a few of them to start and see how far you get. Just follow the directions and keep in mind whatever the stuff touches it kills so if its on a ledge where itll fall down on a coral below be careful of that. Wouldnt recommend anything else.

I very rarely have any but when I do I use a syringe, the kind with out a needle and a little water from my tank, microwave it till it boils and then squirt the majano or aptasia with the hot water. Melts them away. Very rarely do I need to apply the boiling water a second time. You can use a rubber spatula or something like that if you want to shield something from getting hot. I have never hurt a coral using this method. No added chemicals in your water and it is free.
