Did something happen to the board?

    When I go to creat a new topic or reply, the format and insert options are different than they were before. I can't seem to add a picture in a post like I used to and other optiins are missing too.

    I know JB was working on some updates and changes, maybe this changed with something he did.

    I can't post pictures either. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

    Okay...if you know some HTML you can post pictures.

    Use....

    < img src="URL goes here" >

    And just remove the spaces after the < and before the >. Worked for me!

    I just discovered if you just post a video embed it'll automagically put the video in the post. Wouldn't do that before. Something has definitely changed...\

    Nothing has change as far as I can see. I was able to do this before and now. HTML code is what to use. If you have a hosting site for your videos or pictures and cut, then paste the HTML code( this is already given to you by Photobucket) to your post it works and always had. Hosting site like (photobucket.com) or something.



    For example I can just copy and paste the HTML code of you video and

    I have to try the Video thing sometime on youtube. I have not done that yet. Can you setup an account that only you can see?

    I applied a patch to our forum software over the weekend and it broke the editor we were using. To resolve this, I had to switch to temporarily switch to a different editor that doesn't have the image insert button.

    Once the new version is available, the insert image button will be back.

    If you upload a video you can set it as private. Not sure about a private account, though. It's all tied to gmail accounts now.

    Oh ok I see. I will have to give it a go. My son is always wanting to post videos on there. lol
