Did we ever hear the BIG news?

    I searched but like a total tool I lost the "BIG News" thread started by xroads. Did we ever get to know what that was about?

    Err, I think it's that MACNA is coming to DSM in 2011? If that isn't it I doubt there is much that will top it. WOW...

    That's super exciting. Tempted to go ti tge one in Flordia now so that i don't show up like a giant noob to the one os DSM.

    Well, if budget permits (aka the lady says ok) I will see what I can do. Unfortunately spring fest is a no go though. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/hybrid//emoticons/sad.gif Will be in CA that week.

    What is MACNA? And where in florida is it? and when? I was planning a scuba trip to florida as soon as i can. maybe that would work out

    There's a link. It probably better describes things than I would. If you have been to a frag swap, it is like that times 1000 plus a bunch of different vendors (icecap, ectoech, a few that come to mind). Basically if you are into salt water this is YOUR comiccon, star wars/ Star Trek convention.

    MACNA is in Orlando and one of the options when you register is to do the "DiveQuest: Epcot" which is essentially a 40 minute dive in there gigantic aquarium.   If you sign up for it through MACNA, it's only $150 (normally $190 through disney).
    Orlando is a bit away from the coast, so I'm gonna try and do the DiveQuest so I can get some scuba in during MACNA.
