    We should shot for a final bag count by no later than 10/1. I'll start working my spreadsheet and searching ingredients now.

    I have a big spreadsheet. I'll be posting the ingredients here, you could also look through the DSM group forum for the last one we did, I think the mix is listed there.

    Hard to make hat home because there are so many ingredients. You can buy bags without going to the event.

    I just got a text from Kirk Embree. He said they are swamped at Central Campus, but they can make it work. They will allow us to hold the DIY Food event there on October 11th, but we have to be out of these by Noon, no later.

    We had this down to a pretty well-oiled machine last year, I think we did a huge batch or around 70 bags and we were in and out in about 2 hours or so.

    Kirk's suggestion is that we start at 8am, and I'm guessing this is the doors-open time.

    Sound good to everyone?

    hey bud thanks for the heads up unfortunately I will not be able to make it because I work on Saturdays not being done until around 12 to 1 o'clock.I understand you have to be a member. I will get my membership to you. you can just let me know how much the food is and where I can pick it up and when. thanks for your time.

    I live a little too far to drive out for this event, so I will not be attending. I would be interested in a bag if someone will be heading to the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area where I can pick them up. (non predator type mix)

    I'll take 2 bags, and yes I will be there.


    For anyone that hasn't participated in the past - and especially new club members, this is GOOD DIY food. Very reasonably priced. In the past we have tried to keep the price at $10/bag. That is the price for those people in attendance. For the people that can't make it to the event, but still want the food, we charged $15/bag last time we made it.


    Get your order in now!!!!! Oct 1st is the deadline - and that's only a few days away......


    I'm sure that Justing will be reminding everyone again in a few days.......
