DIY Food

We are planning the DIY Food event in my garage at 115 S. Mary St., Stronghurst,Il. I offered this due to what I am sure that no one would want the smell in their house, lol. We need to have all members post what they would like to see in this recipe that we are coming up with on our own. Once we have that we will start the planning of who will bring what to contribute to this recipe. We also need a supply list for tools and equipment to make this. I will keep track in a note book and occationally post a list of each list of food supplies and equipment supplies.

 

Food Supplies:

Octopus
Squid
Scallops
Shrimp
Krill
Mysis
Garlic
Phytoplankton
Nori seaweed
RODI Water


Equipment Supplies:

blenders/food processor
Knives
cutting boards
mixing paddle (the kind that goes on drill)
Colanders/strainers
5 gal buckets - food safe/rubbermaid tub - for mixing
Zip-lock baggies - freezer safe
Cardboard (this will be used between several layers of bags to help out on keeping them flat for freezing.
Measuring cups



This is just a list that I started. If you think we should take something off the list or add something post it.

 

May 17, 2012 is the DIY Food event starts at noon with a potluck dinner and having meeting while we eat then start on the DIY Food event. Just realized I didn't have that info added. Guess it would help,LOL.
