diy...led lighting to add to metal halide

    I have a 150watt metal halide sunpod by current. I got it travis g. for those of u who may have seen it. Anyways....the l.e.d.s in it are not very good at all!!!!! I wanna take them out and add some sweet ones to pop my coral corals and also for moonlights. Was thinking for trying something from rapidled but dont know much about it. Please help!!! Any advise on how i go about doing this?!?!?!

    Look on i think reef central through google. Someone took the factory junk ones out, utilized the factory holes and had new leds poke through. Super clean and not too expensive

    Orrrrrr take those panels out silicone glass pieces over the holes and run gu10 leds. Ebay has em 3x3 watt 2 blue one white

    and if so.... what colors that i can order form them are good for popping colors in corals that can supplement my 14k halide??

    Agree, for making corals pop Violet/UV and royal blue would do the trick nicely.

    I was thinking of doing the 6 led solderless retrofit kit from rapid led. I was going to switch out the colors for UV and violet with blue moon lights. And get another driver to control the moonlight separately and get the controller for dimability
