DIY Meeting Ideas

    We have a DIY meeting scheduled for Tuesday the 13th. What would people like to see at this meeting?
    This will be a discussion maybe with pictures. Here are some thoughts:
    Top Off
    Water Changes
    Kalk stirrer
    ????

    Of the three I would pick kalk stirrer. For me, ATO and water changes are easy, unless you are talking some sort of automated water change, that might be intriguing.

    Kalk stirrer on my end. hopefully we aren't working 60 hours that week! i would deffinately love to do that one.

    i want to learn how to make reef tanks out of wood that looks so cool

    Bela, yes that would be automated water changes. I can show what I have done to automate water changes, topoff and build my own kalk stirrer. They are all very easy and basic with nothing fancy. But they work well.
    However, this will only be a discussion with maybe pictures. Unless we host at a different location we cant bring glue and build stuff in my office.
    John, I have read bout building a tank out of plywood and have dabbled years ago with creating plywood tanks that hold water but never with a glass front. So if you would like to research a bit and go over it in the meeting that would be great.

    yeah they are pretty neat i have been looking at them on rc and looks like they make some kind of mix that goes on the wood and thats what i would like to learn :)

    We are gonna reschedule this meeting for a later date when people aren't as busy. When things get colder we should get better attendance.
