diy skimmer and calcium reactor question

    Does anyone have any good links to plans for these items?
    I've been lookin on RC but its kinda hard to wade through the archives. They will be on a 120ish gallon system.

    I remember Joel (JTesdall) had linked a DIY 5 gallon water jug skimmer a while back. I would sned him a PM. Don't have much for you in terms of calcium reactors though.

    heres one ive always liked. i havent built nor do i know anyone who has but it looks like a nice skimmer not sure what it would be rate for but it looks easy enuf to make bigger? as for the cr ive heard its better just to buy one. http://theprodigalcube.blogspot.com...immer.html

    That looks really nice. I should add though that I have seen the model of euroreef that this one is modeled after for about the same price (or less) used on RC many times. I paid $150 shipped for mine. Based on the price breakdown, if you are only building one you might be better off just buying used (if you were willing to do so). I would be interested to know the costs of that cone skimmer though. Also curious what method was used to actually seal tho cone part. That step seemed to be omitted from the pics.
