He's so CUTE!! Teehee. I'm really happy. The dinoflagellates are gone and I have a cute new addition! And soon I'll be able to get corals without the fear of them dying by being smothered to death. Yay! Today is a good day /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif I'll post pictures as soon as I get them /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif!!!

Just wondering did you transfer any chaeto over from a developed tank so you can get the pod population up? The reason I mention this is I know your tank has not been running that long. These guys will tear through pods quickly so hopefully you have a lot! Otherwise I would try getting him to eat frozen if at all possible. I got one with my first setup and I looked them up to find out he was probably a goner already. He did not make it much longer after getting him.

Yes, I made sure to get very mature chaeto, I supplimented with pods when I started the tank, and this guy eats rods food like a pig so I think I should be ok. Of course I'm still a little nervous but hopefully he'll do ok /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Use Firefox or IE. Safari is not completely compatible with the forums.

Do scooters halfway bury themselves when they sleep? Or if they are nervous? He's been doing really well all night but after I used my hand to quick lift up any debree that was lightly on the rocks and sand for the hot magnum to suck up, I noticed he was slightly buried. I apologized and unburied him thinking I had accidentally done it, but now he's that way again by himself. Adorable little face poking out. Any thoughts?

Thanks! I'm super excited. I ordered some supplimental copepods to dose the tank with each week or so to make sure he still has plenty of food in addition to rods. His nick name is Scooter Scootie Scoot Scoot lol. I'm so creative with this one haha. But Scooter is so adorable to start with, I don't think I'd be able to find a cuter name than that to fit him anyway /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif So I officially have Cora and Bennie, my clowns, King my Midas Blenny, Scooter the Scooter Blenny, Dante the cleaner shrimp, and Athena the peppermint /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif YAY Happy little family /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif
