clicking the join group link on the top right doesnt work?

 

i dont have a link to click either

 

On the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City home page you should see a "Join Group" selection in the upper right corner. Is that showing up? What happens when you select it? You should get a club "notification" that you've joined the Group.
To test it, I just joined the Waterloo group and it worked fine.
If it's not working for you, we might need to get JB involved.

 

iv been looking all the time for a month and it hasnt popped up for me. theres no link or anything. ive looked all over the page

I have been a member since feb 12 of this year and have yet to see a way to join a group..

In the upper right corner of your screen shot is "Join Group"....what happens when you click on that?

 

There are 2 different places that you can click in order to join a group.  Note that you do NOT need to be a club member to join a group and you can join as many groups as you want.
If you are not seeing these links, please post what Operating system and browser you are using.
Option 1:  From the "Interests Groups" page (under the "Community" menu option)

i get the same thing as quam. everythings the same, just no join group button is visible. i run mac osx

 

this all I get.. Im running windows vista with IE8 the green arrow doesnt link to anything or do anything at all..

 

yeah bob i was just posting the screen shot so other could see where the join group option was.

 

I had this same problem. I think what fixed it for me was completing the verified registration. To do this, click on the link at the bottom of the initial registration email. Before I did this, I still showed up as a registered member but was unable to join groups. Hope this helps.

 

Yes, it should ask you to verify your registration and give you the option to resend the email (which it doesn't appear to be doing). I'm going to report this as a bug.
