Found everything I needed at K and K true value Hardware in Bettendorf. They had the weld on acrylic glue and the acrylic.

It sounds like they're wanting some hands on help with the project. A lot of people aren't that comfortable with some parts of the build, such as plumbing, and its nice to have someone with experience go over your particular setup and offer some advice and help with the project. This type of help is what this club is all about, and why its great to be a member of it.

I'm sure someone will be willing to stop by and lend a hand new2salt.

The main tank is a 55 and full of life I didn't really wanna drill the tank that makes me nervous the sump is a 40 breeder with three set's of baffles

K...jw but will u have room for that in your stand? Seems like a pretty wide sump for a 55 ( if its a standard 55?)

The 55 is in my wall and on the backside of the 55 is a storage room so I've got plenty of room

Awesome. That makes sense. All u really need is a hob overflow. And a return pump with some tubing...itd be real nice if you can drill it. Its worth it. I have the bits if youre able to go that route.

But however you do it I will try helping if you need it. If you need a return pump I may have one.

I will need a return pump. How much do you want for yours. I'm not against drilling it just really scares me. I'd hate to break it. But it would be much cheaper that way.

There's always that sigh of relief at the end of drilling a tank LOL. The first one ever is always the most nerve racking.
