Glad you got it working! I have a 600 converted to a 900. Im more than happy with this skimmer. I think the big key to makeing these work well is to have a big enough pump to power it. Also if it slows down on skimnming changing the bio balls in the reaction chamber can help. the pump the company recomends is a iwaki or blueline 40 or 55. If any questions their website is superskimmer.com
Alot of people complain that they are old technology and they use to much electricity because it requires a large pump. If you buy a recirculating skimmer they use more than one pump and use just as much electricity, plus you have more than 1 pump to maintain. In my opinion they work just as good if not better than other skimmers ive used. I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

I just looked on the website and it said use 22 of the 1 1/2 inch bio balls. If you look under accessories and then bio ball's their is a chart that tells how many to use. Their is some good info on the website if you go to superskimmer.com

I have gone on the website thats where I saw that there was supposed to be bioballs in it lol didnt see the chart though will def check that out again. I agree that this skimmer is really good way better then my ASM G4 imo... Im getting way more skim out of it plus I like that it is external.

So what exactly do the bioballs do? Cause if its skimming now do you think I need to get them? Will they make it skim better? Im getting the tuning down but still getting wet skim do you know if they will help that? Sorry for all of the questions

No problem just hope ive been of some help. I assume the bio balls are just to make the air bubbles smaller so it skims better. I guess my thought is if they say the skimmer need's bio balls their has to be a good reason for it lol. It take's a while to get them dialed in but just be patient and you will get it set to your likeing!
