   Does anyone have any tips or tricks to contain/eradicate encrusting monti corals? Have some (reverse superman, supernatural) that are basically a weed as far as I am concerned and threating to over run much better corals. Does any one know how to keep them in check without damaging their neighboring corals?

   I used to have a sharp flat chisel that was about t2 ft long.
   
   I would just put the tip where I wanted it cut and give a little rap on the end with the hammer.
   
   I bought it new and it was dedicated to my fish room so I didnt have to worry about contamination on it.

   I covered some of mine with coralline colored epoxy but eventually it will grow back over it.
