Ok folks, got a question for anyone out there... I just picked up the body for an Eshopps psk 150 skimmer from craig out at ac&c, great deal for the body of it, but I need a pump for it. In my research looking it up I have found a couple pumps that are sold as 'replacement' pumps....and I was going to go with one of those....BUT I thought I'd send Eshopps customer service an email first just to see what they could line me up with. Their response was "what model pump is on your PSK-150? Please keep in mind we have 1[sup]st generation, 2[sup]nd[/sup] generation and 3rd[/sup] generation skimmers that may use a different pump"

SO... my question to you all out there is this:

    1. does anybody actually know what the generational differences is/are between this skimmer?

    2. do you currently have one, and wouldn't mind sharing what generation/pump model yours is running on?

    Thanks guys...

oh and here is what they are calling a gen. II and looks pretty spot on to this!

I would buy any reliable pump, rated about the same size as the original, as long as it will fit the plumbing on the skimmer of course. Companies always want to sell you their option when more affordable options are available.
