I just started using this mix a month or so ago on my 30 sps cube, and have to say I really like this salt. After reading  about it through Reef Builders and then again seeing it used first hand and talking to Cherry Corals at spring fest I decided i would give it a try. You basically have 2 dry and 2 liquid parts to mix. From start to finish I can mix and do a water change in 30 min or less as long as my temp is ok. This is great if you've ever been in a pinch/emergency to do a water change with none made-up. Also, when adding the new water, none of my corals closed up or acted any different after the water change. My mixing pump/bucket are clean, no signs of precipitation of calcium- brown flim ect at all. After using roughly 50 gallons of this mix and seeing positive reviews from others, I may just have found a new salt mix. I guess only time will tell.

Thanks for the info, Tim! It would be interesting to see if there is any sort of residue build up if left mixing for 24 hours like standard salt mixes. Also, where did you order it from?  If it is good, I may have a sale on my current salt so I can try it out! [IMG]

No residue after 24 hr mix. I thought that also and let it sit for a day. I picked it up at Marine Depot, no heavy shipping fee either for some reason??

I was looking to pick up a few boxes on Marine Depot because of the cheap shipping....the fixed not charging heavy shipping for this. It's $20/box now /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

Their profit margin had to be slim before they started charging the extra handling fee. Each 200 gallon mix comes in 2 boxes and they are heavy. There isn't a handle or anything on it so it makes it tough to carry.
