Has anyone had experience with an Angler? I saw a yellow angler a couple months ago, and I've been intrigued since. I love their personalities. I'd love to have a yellow or wartskin angler as they seem to be the smallest and coolest looking of the species. If anyone has any experience with them, please enlighten me. Thanks!

i have a small tan angler in my tank.we love it.doesnt swim, walks around really slow and we just gutload feeder fish with good food and feed it them with a long tong type grabber.has never bothered anything in my tank and a fun little creature to watch.i dont think i would want him to go hungry though.i've seen vids of them trying to eat things way to big and both die.

That's awesome to hear! What else do you have in the tank and what size tank do you have? I have a pair of Percula Clowns that I'm afraid an Angler may make a meal out of. Both clowns are 2.5-3", and I plan to get a small angler if I do decide to get one. Problem is that full size the clowns and angler will be about the same size.

i have a 120g.i have a snowflake eel about 12" long,a 3" and 1" tomato clown,a yellow tang about 3",a 4" black volitan lionfish,a 1" pajama,a cardinal fish, and a 3" blue hippo tang.also a 12" haddoni carpet,3-4" multi colored bubbletip, and a few little frags of random coral lol.i hope that with them all growing up together that being fed regularly that the piece will remain good in my tank.all of them at times swim around together.so far so good.and i know that there is no guarantee however.....

Wow! That's really impressive! It's awesome that you have so many predator fish and are keeping the peace...gives me hope. I have a much smaller tank, but I'm only looking at adding the one small angler (adult size of about 4"). Thank you so much for all the info!
