im asking this question cause i just got two of them but they look like anthias.  Both are a light red color and one has a yellow forked tail and the other has a purple forked tail but there bodies are long like anthias.  does anyone know about these?
    Thanks

purple reef chromis ( Chromis scotti) more closely resemble a more fusiform gramma rather than any of the psuedoanthias'. You could have "magenta slender anthias" Luzonichthys waitei I believe. These are sometimes marketed as purple reef chromis and more closely resemble psuedoanthias, they are both in the Serranidae family after all.
