I grew my tomato plants from seed this year and made sure to grow enough to replace my garden just in case we got hit with a late frost. Now that it looks like we're in the clear I have about a dozen extra tomato plants. I'd hate to throw them out since most of them look very healthy. They've been hardened off outside already and just need to be thrown in the ground.

If someone wants some or all of them please take them! I'm located in North Liberty (between Iowa City and Cedar Rapids) and should be around all weekend. Just send me a PM if you're interested. I've attached a picture of them from a few days ago... several of them are starting to flower.

    The varieties I have are:

    Big Boy (slicer): http://www.burpee.com/vegetables/to...00976.html

    Early Treat (slicer) : http://www.homedepot.com/p/Burpee-T...er_reviews

    Roma (sauce): http://www.burpee.com/vegetables/to...01008.html

    Tasty Treat (cherry): http://www.homedepot.com/p/Burpee-T...ZbDrWEo7mE

    Thanks!

    Eric

If you plan on planting them you can take them... I just can't get myself to toss them! Hehe, I also take SPS frag donations /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Are you interested in all of them or just certain ones? I have 4 big boys, 4 romas, 4 early treats, and 1 tasty treat. There's also a California Wonder pepper if you want that as well.

Andy, I may have some extra romas for you still. John is going to take all of the big boys and the tasty treat leaving me with 4 romas and 4 early treats. Second in line was BigKel who said he would take a few.. not sure which ones he was interested in though. Whatever is left of the roma supply is yours /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Sound good for everyone? Depending on what BigKel is interested in there may or may not be extra early treats (early slicing tomatoes around 4-5 oz).

My grandpa had a couple extra Romas for me actually Eric! Thanks though! We don't have many tall trees in our neighborhood, so unfortunately we never get orioles. We have had a scarlet tanager and Blackburnian warblers (and lots of other more common birds).
