EXtreme candy cane extension

    That is fairly normal. Cool huh.

    they are a night feeder usually.

    If you turn off your pumps & put in frozen food they will do the same thing

    Mine do that...I kind of freak'd the first time I saw it...looked like they were turning inside out. Nope ...just hungry.

    yeah they know when the lights come on they usually get fed. they have only been in the tank since late sat night... amazing how fast they 'catch' on... i just thought it was awesome to see. i think it's wonderful to watch them eat. if you give them a fish egg or two they swell up. very cool to watch

    Mine do that all the time as soon as the lights go out. I need to start feeding them at night

    hey kylie, i don't feed after the lights go out and i always get polyp extension. As soon as they 'smell' the food out they come. i mix their food in with display food.

    Hey Mary, did you get that candy cane from Brandon? my maroon rimmed candy cane is doing awesome that i bought from him, always have great polyp extension.

    yes i did. so you took the maroon one i wanted! i am so jealous. lol

    i also took a sad looking pink one that he sold me. it is doing very well and has really perked up in the tank. it looks great and even one of the 'dying' heads is coming back...

    i really like candy canes, as they are one of the first corals i got for my nano. my goal is to get one of each color. VBG i have plenty of room now in my 125 lol...

    yeah candycanes are one of my favorite as well. cant wait till mine start splitting and growing out.
