    Hi all
    Our new website is almost ready.
    I would like your honest feedback on it, we still have time to change some things if we need to.
    Nothing is live, prices are not correct and you cannot buy anything yet.  Products are just temporary templates.

    Thanks

    It looks really good to me. I can't think of anything that would need to be different.

    Craig, Could you put a tab so people know how much shipping will be? That's one of the spots I always try to check before I send an order. Looks great!! Congrats!!

    Thanks all

    Most of that stuff is still being written & developed. You will be able to see shipping at the check out.

    Main thing I am concerned about is the overall look & appeal of the site.

    They say you have 6 seconds once people visit a site to capture their interest before they move on.

    Looks good visually. The functionality and ease of use looks good too. All the page links are easy to read and find. I'd say its looking excellent so far.

    Pros:

    * like the color scheme
    * good overall design

    Cons:

    * Personally not a fan of the scrolling pics
    * Products section seems kind of random. At a minimum I would alphabetize it. Probably would take it a step further and group the corals into one with sub-sections.

    i like it! i think you should include a spot where people can suggest livestock/items to you that they may be looking for. and you can respond via email about the availability. i understand they could just use the contact us tab but if you add something to the bottom of the page when viewing the sections. something like "Cant find what you're looking for?" etc etc.

    overall great site

    I really like it! Was wondering if "Account" is supposed to be where it is? Seems like a person't own account is usually up in the right hand corner of a site. I like how colorful it is though, very eye-catching /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Will there be an option for local pick-up at checkout? Hope so! Do you have a FB page for it yet or is that forthcoming? Very nice though, impressed!

    Latin names would be nice, easily accessible pricing info is a must nowadays, and you might want to put a "Like us on Facebook" button somewhere on the home page. It looks great though Craig!

    I like a bit more utilitarian web site, especially for shopping. "Specials" listed in two places, "Testimonials" listed in two places. I'd take those two buttons off the menu bar and put the "Shopping Cart" and "Contact" "Login" buttons on the bar instead of up in the corner. That gets all the shopping buttons in one spot. On the "Today's Specials" logo you might want to change the font color or animate the text as the current color is lost in the anemone background and doesn't stand out very well. If it was me I'd make the banner so that it moved when you held the mouse over it, but like I said, I like a non-bling web page.
