Target feeding at night? I do a bit of a general broadcast during the day when I feed frozen to the rest of the tank, just bought some reef chili to mix in and try out.

I do all my target feeding at night. This way the fish stay out of the corals while they eat. I use Frozen mysis, frozen reef plankton, reef chili, reef roids and marine snow.

I feed mine during the day. I target feed some reef roids and reef chili. Bigger corals I feed pellet food. Like scolys and lobos welso, acanthophyllias. A cans I just target with reef roids and reef chili once a week.

Thanks Jeremy, will acans spread out across sand or do they need to be on a rock?

They grow out there skeleton and heads pop up usually around bottom of coral. You can glue them on a rock or leave them in sand either is good

Anyone ever heard feeding during the day is better than at night? Someone told me once if you feed at night the coral closes and then doesnt really do anything. During the day its able to use the food better. I dont know if that is true or just opinion. Feeding at night does help alot with the fish staying out of it. But also do acans/lps benefit from smaller/powder foods(reef roids etc)?
