a carry over question from my first question do you have your pumps on or off when feeding
ok some people mentioned turning there pumps off while feeding.
does this mean turning off your just your pumps in the tank and or including the sump when you go to feed ?
wouldn't his make it hard for filter feeding corals to eat?

I always turn my return pump off so the food floats and it gives the fish and everything time to get it. Then after 10min or so I turn the pump back on.

If I have time I shut the return pump off, it messes with my skimmer if I don't. It takes about half an hour to an hour for the skimmer to start running normal again.
