Filter Sock Question

    How offten should/do you change your filter socks? Im sure it dependes on tank size, sock size, feeding and other stuff, just looking to see how offen people change theirs..

    I used to have to change mine every 3-4 days---- but I also did a whole tank feeding when I fed my corals.

    I run two 4" ones on my 350 and have to change them about once a week. Once there overflowing it's time to change is what I go by.

    stopped using them and found my skimmer worked better.

    Thanks for the input.. I think I need to change mine a little more often, Ive forgot to change them a few times but nowhere near the point of having them overflowing...
