so if that is true then why are the others waiting for jack? we saw Sawyer, kate, miles and Frank leave the island... jimmy kimmels take was interesting....

and apparently Ben was not ready to 'go' as yet.... so is he 'dead' or 'alive' or in pergatory?

and why did the cave release him as opposed to another smokey? because he was "good" and made the ultimate sacrifice?

 

well there were several that never died in the series. i said i think it was in season 2 that they were all dead but then after that i didnt know what to think. what happened to Micheal and the boy they werent at the church?my wife liked the ending but im on the fence. also did mrs whitmore know her son was dead?

 

She seemed to know, as she asked Desmond if he was going to take him and Desmond said no he wasn't...
Michael was taken over by the dark side and was walking the island. he died on the freighter.
Walt had escaped the island .earlier.

 

Not sure what to think yet.

How does whitmore coming to the island play into it if they were dead?

Not a good ending to me, not enough answers like they have been promising

 

Remember back, Widmore initially was protecting the island, he was the leader of the Others. he came back to protect the island which is why he kidnpped Desmond. the only way to protect the island was to kill smokey and only desmond could do that as time travel etc centered around him. it was his responsiblity to hit the button every 108 minutes

And remember Christian told jack that it was real... Being in purgatory could be real as well. Lost was written to make you think and explore other ideas and to develop your own...

jimmy kimmel brought up a good idea. his take on it was it was jacks path in life and the choices he made....

 

How was the alternate endings on kimmel?
