FINALLY finished the 40 stand...

Only took like a year... but finally found some
time this weekend to get 95% done! The canopy will be finished tonight. And then I can mud it into the wall and paint it all!

 

We may be moving so I am just going to throw some trim in it and paint for now.

As far as why wood vs dry wall is dry wall will melt over time. And I don't want the gypsum getting into the tank at all. There's still a fuge under the and the wood gives me faster access. If anything hardy baker would have had to have been used. But fir a build in it really depends on where the system is going.v this system is used to partition of the kitchen from the living room 1 on the main level. The system isms is about 100-130 gallons in total with a 40 gallon fuge a and a 55 gallon drum dump in the crawlspace under the house directly under the tank. So there is a good bit of potential for long term moisture.

Thanks guys! Yeah It really does help to break up the room.before that south wall its on was just a huge long wall between the dinning and living room.

still have to miunt the end cap keeping it loose until I have my new pump in place. And a couple spots on the trim to the wall that need another nail and a recoat but otherwise I think it turned out all right!
