Finally got my tank up!

    I finally got my tank up and running.  It's a 180 in the wall of my mancave.  I got sweet deals on live rock from blackxrunner and rabbitsreef, a aqua-c ev-240 from phishcrazee.  GIRS saved me hundreds! I went with 3 ecoxotic panorama pro LEDs and 2 tunze 6105s.  I've been pretty happy with both. The lights look awesome and bright, but a pain to clean. I plan to use DIY 2 part initially-interested to know how locals have liked that if you've used it.
    I've added a few corals and fish and all look good.  I can't believe how excited I am to go bankrupt!

    Congrats Matt! Look forward to seeing it sometime /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif I used a 2 part awhile ago, but after awhile, it wasn't enough to keep the pH up where I wanted it, so I went to adding kalk to my top-off water instead. I guess it just depends what sort of coral you'll be keeping and how fast they grow etc etc.

    I was over there the other night swapping some corals. He's got a really nice start! The rock work is great.  Looking forward to watching your tank progress...

    No pics. To busy messing with it. Once i get my algae scrubber online ill take pics. The dinos are annoying. I feed too much but cant quit...
