Got my new camera yesterday and finally got to mess around with it a little bit.  I'm pretty impressed with it so far but found out that most of the skill is in the photographer and not the camera! /site/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif
I def. have a lot of learning to do but at least I have a good camera now on which I can learn with.
Here's the specs (which I really don't have any idea what they mean) for those of you that may want to know:
    Shutter speed: 1/80
    Aperture value:  3.2
    Exposure compensation:  0
    ISO Speed:  250
    Focal Length:  14.8 mm
All I really did was crop the picture:

Man do I love my new camera! I haven't had a ton of time to really play with it but here's a couple more I like.

How are you doing the B&W with selective color thing? Photoshoping?

My camera is a Canon G9   HERE

The first two pics were taken using the color select mode on the camera. You can pick a color and only accent that color and it will turn the rest B&W. The last one of Christopher I used GIMP and actually did that one by hand.

    Cool, nice shots there.

I recently dove into the D-SLR world. I'm still an amateur at best but I can't see doing it any other way now.

    Here's my camera:
