I want the Hippo Tang but not heading to Des Moines anytime soon....

 

The tangs are SOOOO temping since they are 2 of the last 3 fish that I want to add, and I will actually be in Des Moines this weekend. My problem is that I want to add one other fish (possibly a yellow tang) to my tank and they all need to go in at the same time to reduce territorial issues.

No problem. The two tangs are still drip acclimating (in separate buckets). Purple is swimming, blue is just laying on the bottom. Hopefully he will come around a little when he gets out of the bucket.

 

Awinstead, you may want to check your remaining fish. I swear that there was a deep orange fin or tail in the bottom of the bucket. It does not appear to be from the tangs or anthias. The blue found a nice hiding spot, and the purple and my existing auriga butterfly where already jockeying for who was the king of the tank. That was with just some light in the hallway next to the tank on while I was picking up the acclimation stuff. Once that went out, they left each other alone.

Both tangs are doing really well and have already settling in. They both ate aggressively today.

 

Do you still have to yellow wrasse?
