We have 2 Vlamingii tangs (8-10in) which we need to find a good home for.  Can't give you a lot of information on these fish.  A couple of months ago we purchased a complete 180 gallon system and these 2 were included.
The larger of the 2 is in perfect condition and his streamers are starting to grow.  He eats like a pig. Have never seen any aggression and is very personable.
The second has had a hard life which can be seen by the scars and missing finnage.  It is missing most of its dorsal and all of fins on the bottom side.  She also has many scars around her head.  Today she is in perfect health, has no problems moving around just not a perfect looking specimen.  She eats well and have never seen any agrression for her either. ( I say she put do not know for sure, she looks like she may be developing streamers also.)
I have treated this system for flukes in the last month, believe it is all cleared up but would definitely recommend a QT to be sure.
Would love to keep these fish just have no where to put them.  We already have a Vlamingii in our large system, so if you have a large system which could support one of these fish please let me know.
Thanks in advance for helping these fish!

Can you tell me what size system it will go in?  Just need to make sure they get a good home.

150 gallon system. I have been a member now for over two years, but haven't been on the forums much since I bought my house I'm remodeling in April. I know LeClair Rd and that's it in Eldridge. How is tomorrow about 3:30 - 4?

I'm concerned about the size of the tank the fish would be going into.  Correct me if I'm wrong but the dimensions of a standard 150 are 72 X 18.  The fish are currently 8-10 inches long and still have a lot of growing to do.  As they grow they may not have the ability to turn around in an 18 inch area.  I was hoping for something larger than the 180 they are currently in.

Joel has a 300-ish gallon 8 footer if I remember correctly. I nominate him!

I will put your name on the large male.  I think they may be better off going to separate systems.  Normally tangs of the same species don't get along well and not sure how long these 2 will continue to be cordial.  Will send a pm with my info so we can meet up at Fall Fest.

Hey Matt, I was nominated not you!! I could house one of them in my 240, but let others have first dibs. That would max out my tank.
