Slow down, you might want to figure out what is happening before you spend a bunch of $ on new fish.

I have to agree with ruggerkc, You need to slow down and figure out what happened.
What was the name/brand of clarifier you used?
Why did you feel you needed to use a clarifier?
I read your old posts and you were looking for live rock and sand less than a month ago, Did you cycle the aquarium completely before adding fish?
    Are you using tap water?
    Have you tested the water?
Sorry for all the questions but this hobby can be very expensive without having problems and if your new to the hobby it's easy to make mistakes that get you going in the wrong direction fast.
If your in Des Moines I can come look at your setup and get you going in the right direction.

Yes I have had it up and running about two months...I test regularly...I needed clarifier because the water wasnt crisp ....I figured out why they died and fixed the problem,My ph was at 7.0 and that was the one thing that was missed ...... I use filtered water from rainsoft and I use stress coat when adding it.I changed 20% of my water today and used a ph buffer and I am in normal range now .... Trust me I do not want my kids to go through this again /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/sad.gif .

I did the same thing when I started salt. Like said above, slow down. A two month old tank is "new". I would run it for some time before putting in more fish. Especially a naso or clown. After a few weeks of running and some water changing, throw in a green chromis or something and see how it does for quite a while.
Also, polished water will come from good filtertration and water circuilation. I leaned a lot of hard lessons by using the bottled fixes for what I felt was needed. I've been at this for 13 years and still don't know that much. Lots of great advice on this site, but slowing down is the best advice I ever had. Nothing good happens fast with salt water tanks.

I understand and appreciate the advise..I just dont want to throw in a fish I dontwant to keep...I have 300 + pounds of live rock and its impossable to catch a fish in there...I know that I have to get some sort of fish in there some time ...when is a good time for that????

If you followed the directions on the clarifier, I bet that isn't your issue. Especially in a 210 gallon tank. Have you checked ammonia and nitrites? I wounder if your live rock had some die off that's causing your tank to cycle?

I would agree with all written thus far. I went back through your posts and on Dec 23 you were looking for live rock, so whatever rock you have now probably isn't cycled yet at all. One of your subsequent posts included a puffer that had some kind of gunk on the eye. And now there are several dead fish. So, I think your fish are getting the worst of the cycling process. I think removing all remaining fish and coral and waiting another 4-8 weeks would be a decent course of action. You could try a cycling agent, but that only jump starts the nitrifying bacteria...chances are you've already got that part started. So...waiting is good. My favorite quote from Bob Fenner (from The Conscientious Marine Aquarist) is "nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank"...that's good advice.

A little Nitrate is ok. Nitrite and amonia are problems.
