Early on a couple days after setting up my tank I used about 2 or 3 sticks of Fluval Epoxy ("marine safe") to bond rocks together. My water got massively cloudy and it took an entire day for it to settle down. Shortly (a couple hours) after the clouding up I had to remove the fish from the tank and they were obviously being poisoned by it. My tank is 30 gallons, had 20 in at the time.
Has anybody else had these problems? Can anybody tell me what the content of the fluval epoxy is? Metals? Chemical composition?

The fluval epoxy and seabond among other brands are meant to be used in both dry and wet conditions. I have not heard of any ill effects of using it in tank while using in a set up tank, aside from not working to bond as well) I personally have not used 2-3 sticks worth at once, But have never had any issues with clouding or bio issues.

Were the rocks new? Were they rinsed if base rock or acclimated if live?
