Here is a few pics for my Foam Rock wall build I have been working on for a couple months. Finally got it setup and running this past weekend. Tank upgrade from 75 to 125.

Somehow lost the pics of design layout on the eggcrate

Freshly foamed and curing I put plastic down then wax paper on top of it. We then put the eggcrate on the wax paper so the foan didnt stick to anything. AFter we had the initial layout of each piece of eggcrate we used black pond foam and sprayed it around all the rocks. We then tok smll rock rubble and pushed into the foam for added effects.

Putting epoxy on the foam then sprinkling sand over the epoxy

Looks awesome Pat, I'll be following along! Make sure to give the foam plenty of time to cure!

Thanks Yeah I did the foam and epoxy about a month ago and let it setup and cure. Finally got around to doing the tank transfer. I now wish I did this for my 150 gallon the depth it creates at different angles makes it look really cool.

Thought I would post some updates as I finally got around to  adding frag tanks and cleaned up my fish room bait. Still have a couple tanks I was going to add soon as I figure out what i want to do with them.

Thanks It took me a few months to get everything up and going in my spare time. Just got around to doing the frag tanks. Got to get the lights up over the frag tanks yet but the hard work is done I think until I decide to add something else.

What kind of epoxy did you use and where did you get it? I'm planning on doing this to my 300gal plywood tank soon

3m stuff I got it at Lowes. Its made for boats and marine stuff in a gray can. Just let it cure for awhile and it stinks real bad. I let mine sit in the garage for a couple weeks by the time I got to putting it in the tank do to finding time to setup the tank . You Have to work fast as it sets up pretty quick cures with in 24 hours The stuff works great and I haven't had any issues with it.
