I have been thinking of adding one to my system. I know that they say that they can nip at softies. Does anybody have them in there system with not having any problem if so what type and what are you feeding it to keep it happy.

I have a one spot, two barred, and an orange spot rabbitfish in my 90 reef. I have several different frogspawn, gsp, green slimmer, and a handful of sps and haven't had any issues with them nipping at anything. They eat the hell out of green seaweed on the clip and I feed marine cuisine, garlic flakes, and mysis shrimp.

I have a one spot foxface, and a 2 stripped rabbitfish, I have had them for about 2 years. No problems with them bothering the corals. I do feed quite a bit of algae sheets though. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I've had one for 2 years. He's about 6". Zoas, Acans, torch, hammer, frog spawn, nems, acros, sps, etc - doesn't bother them. Mostly looks around them for something to graze on, but have yet to see him nip at any coral at all.

I've had my one-spot for about 7 months or so. Mine doesn't touch anything now, but used to pick at a chalice. It would nip every time it passed by it, and I have a vid of it doing it. No permanent damage, but left some bite marks..

After rearranging my tank it quit. It's a model citizen now. I have zoas, LPS of all types, and a couple SPS.

I've had a One spot for a few years now in a 75 reef. No issues to date. I feed twice a day and strips of Nori (purp and green) every other day or so (it's not a sciense in our house for the sheets...) never nipped a coral once. And there are pelenty to nip at.

OH! She does love chaeto, anythign that makes it past the filters and baffles, or anytime I am working in the sump and it gets through it is a seriously awesome day for her.
