Frag Fest

    Since this will be my first frag fest im wondering what am i to expect? As in who will be there and what all is sold? Is debt card excepted? I know bring lots of money and a something to put corals in lol

    Ya most will take debt or credit some will even do PayPal there will be lots and lots of corals some dry goods but who knows if derks will be able to go now he has most of the supplies (dry goods) and equipment at the fests

    Most of the commercial vendors will be able to take credit/debit cards. The hobbyist vendors however will probably all be limited to cash.
    We have 13 commercial coral vendors, and right now 8 hobbyist vendors signed up. For drygoods vendors hopefully dirks will still be able to make it, Turbos aquatic algae scrubbers and rod's reef are all we have so far. Booyah's clowns was on the list, but unfortunately he had to cancel this show.
    Don't forget about the speakers we have coming in as well, these guys usually have some very interesting and informative topics they cover.

    Sweet thanks guys for the info. As for Dirks it sucks to hear what happen i did post some stuff over at RC and on my facebook to help put the word out and help catch who did that.

    Talked to Dirk today. He will be making it to our event. He said he won't have nearly as much goods as usual, but he will be there.

    Come early and stay late :0) There is always a SA-Weet raffle too :0) Some hobbyists also bring used equipment...

    There is a tradition that at your first fragfest you look for a member called Uncle Carl and give him at least 10 raffle tickets. It gives you good luck for the rest of your membership.
