I love the look of the shallow frag tanks (8 to 10 inches high) does anyone grow coral out in one of these at their home? almost all the vendors use these while they are selling coral at events / shows. I amm considering buying one off of ebay but really only want it if i can use it at home. I am nowhere near the point where i will be selling coral, even with the 21 frags i won at the swap meet /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif

I have a 24x24x6 frag tank hooked up to my display. I use it to acclimate new corals and for peices I trim of of break off during tank maitnance. I am glad I added it to my system. Keeps display clear of clutter and frag racks. I don't really use it as a grow out more of a catch all for peices I don't know what to do with and frags that I can trade or sell.

That's a good idea Jeremy...that's my issue...they are just laying around all over the bottom of my display now. Lol

that looks like it would work. my main tank is on a very tall stand and it would be easy to plumb into my tank and sump.

Yeah it was easy to do. Ran drain right into where my other drain goes in my sump. Probably less than 2 feet of pvc. And for return just tee off return line. No extra pumps.
