This year we plan to have two workshops and a speaker in addition to the frag fest and raffle at Fragtoberfest. Our goal is to increase attendance so more people benefit from the work put into making this happen. BNARC will give a check for $40 to every reef club that brings 4 or more members who pay admission. The Club that brings the most members will receive a check for $75 (an additional $35 to the original $40). A person who belongs to more than one club must determine which one club gets credit for his attendance. This year BNARC is setting aside 10% of its admission and 1% of its raffle proceeds to allow us to buy supplies for the reef tank we donated to the Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington, last year. This will provide a dependable supply for the zoo tank available as soon as it is needed. In addition to the raffle each paid attendee will receive a ticket for the door prizes which will be more numerous and of greater value.

Gary Parr has agreed to be one of our workshop speakers. I have attended several of his photography sessions and have learned from each of them. I use to teach photography at Lincoln College and taking photos through water has its special challenges. Gary helps understand how to master them.

If you were a vendor at BNARC's Fragtoberfest 2013 and want to be one at Cupids Reef please let me know ASAP. I will hold your spot until November 1, 2014. I have a waiting list for the spaces which will be given unclaimed spots on Nov. 2, 2014.
