So I have had what I call my DIY 10g for nearly two years now. I made the decision to go FOWLR with the 150 (yes I know you all know I will stop saying it!) and my girlfriend wants this tank out of the corner. It was a fun little tank. It is really basic. t started out as a walmart freshwater kit that I seeded some liverock and sand in. It currently has various mushrooms, some ricordias, 2-3 different zoos, and 2 kenya trees. Everything is encrusted on a total of around 20 pounds of live rock. There is also a PVC overflow, a partitioned sump with a small refugium (grows chaeto like CRAZY!), glass heater, and a maxijet powerhead that I used for the return. The display has a koralia nano in it for some additional circulation. This is all on a black standard stand. The hood just has 2x 20w coralife self ballasted screw in bulbs that I ordered online with 50/50 1000K/actinic tubes. One of the bulbs recently burnt out, but both of them do really need replacing. There is a special method to this since I had to modify this "canopy" to work with saltwater lighting, but it isn't hard. I can go more into detail with someone who might want it. I had a bakpak skimmer running on it for a while. Pulled out a a lot of gunk, but I took it offline a couple of months back.
If there is anyone wanting to get started in the hobby (or more likely know someone wanting to get started), I would be happy to pass this stuff on. I will keep the skimmer, maybe the koralia and perhaps the maxijet for mixing new water. If you wanted to throw some money at me for it, I wouldn't mind, but I also don't HAVE to get anything for it. The rock alone is probably worth $60 though. I had some clowns in there, which I will be keeping, but everything else is up for grabs. I can snap some pics, but it is lights off at the moment, so you wouldn't see much.
Just thought I would offer, perhaps make someone's day. I am sure someone else can get some joy out of it as I did for the past couple of years!

Wow that's a sweet deal, To bad I'm not just starting out LOL. I did get my brother started with a 75 gallon fish only but right now I don't know of anyone else.
If you wanted to sell the zoo's and ricordia I might be interested.

I'm going to ask my little sister if she'd like this. She always loves coming over to see my tank (in which she has a few hand picked corals we call 'hers'). Maybe I could teach her and it would be a nice little dorm tank. If not, I know a kitchen very near me that would love to sport this little awesome /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif
