   What I have is macro algea.  Its like caulerpa but has grass like blades.  It has almost taken over a 75G tank so I have bunches of it

   I dont have a pic now but what it is, is caulerpa prolifera. the thin blade veriaty. It works in a sump or a fuge. Don't have it near the pumps, it tends to clog them. If not trimed enough.
